Today’s higher education technology is failing our students while retention challenges continue to grow. Technology can overcomplicate, dehumanize, and even become a barrier to student success. This affects various student cohorts differently, especially as populations become more diverse with non-traditional, working, minority, continuing education, and first-generation students, among others.
We talked with academic experts Luis Perez-Breva (MIT), Lisa Scheese (Mizzou), and Art Markman (UT Austin) about how we can use technology to tear down barriers and champion student success.
